You can use any of the Epson Ecotank printers for sublimation printing, but the Epson Ecotank 2720 and 2760 are the cheapest options.
Can I use Epson 2800 for sublimation?
A: It works great for doing sublimation. You do need sublimation spray for cloth that is cotton. It will work without it but colors not as vivid.
Can an Epson 4100 be used for sublimation?
The Epson XP-4100 was not designed for dye-sublimation printing nor the use of non-genuine Epson ink cartridges. Using sublimation ink in this printer could damage the print head and impact warranty coverage.
Can I use Epson 200 instead 212?
No, although they are 100% identical cartridges, the chip inside them that tells the printer whether it is the right ink is marked differently.

Can you sublimate with regular ink?
Regular ink isn’t made to be compatible with sublimation paper, and will usually smear right off the page if you print using this paper. After all, sublimation paper is mostly used for clothing prints, so it wouldn’t make sense to have ink that sticks to the paper.
