Who are the Entwives?
Entwives were female Ents. They were put upon the earth by Yavanna to protect her trees along with their husbands the Ents. According to Treebeard, Fimbrethil was the most beautiful of the Entwives.
Did they ever find Entwives?
The Entwives, unlike the Ents, interacted with the race of Men and taught them much about the art of agriculture. The Entwives lived in peace until their gardens were destroyed by Sauron (most likely during the War of the Last Alliance), and they themselves disappeared. The Ents looked for them but never found them.
Why did the Entwives disappear?
When Sauron burned that region to stop the advance of the Last Alliance down the Anduin, the Entwives were likely wiped out, although some might have been captured and enslaved as agricultural workers or have escaped into the east of Middle-earth. The Ents held that the Entwives were lost.

What is Gandalf’s new name?
Gandalf the White

Where did Entwives live?
I know there were several hints in the books that there may be Ents in the Old forest; Sam’s cousin said he saw what looked like an Elm tree walking, and a few characters mention the similarities between Fangorn and the Old Forest. The Old Forest seems to be comprised of Huorn type trees.
