Can you use other pods in AeroGarden?
Yes, you can mix different types of plants together if you prune them as needed to manage growth. Herbs, Flowers and Salads are easiest to mix and match together.
Are all AeroGarden pods the same size?
The pods are all the same size for all of the Aerogarden seed kits.

How do you replant AeroGarden pods?
Take the entire Aerogarden basil and plants to a place with a lot of countertop space to work. from Gardener’s Supply Company. Fill the pot about 3/4 full of potting soil, and dig a deep hole right in the middle. Carefully and slowly pull out a pod from the Aerogarden unit, starting with the smallest plant.
Can click and grow pods be used in AeroGarden?

Can you grow tomatoes and lettuce together in an AeroGarden?
The taller, leafy tomato plants can help protect the lettuce plants from receiving too much sun, risking bolting, or going to seed. However, combining the fruiting tomato plants with leafy lettuce plants in the same AeroGarden is not ideal, as they grow to a different heights.
How long are AeroGarden pods good for?

We guarantee germination for 1 year from the date of purchase of the seed pod kit. However, typically the seeds remain viable for 2 years if stored properly. Exposure to excessive heat or humidity may shorten the lifespan of a seed.
What can I use instead of AeroGarden sponges?
Use MaxiGro for greens and MaxiBloom for fruiting plants such as tomatoes and peppers. AeroGarden Sponges are a more cost-effective option than the pre-seeded AeroGarden pods. AeroGarden compatible sponges from Urban Leaf are a great option if you prefer growing medium made from coco coir instead of peat moss.
Can you reuse AeroGarden sponges?
No. You can not reuse the sponges. The roots will grow through the sponge.
