The BLM’s legacy land information systems, LR2000, ALIS, and ORLSS, will be replaced with MLRS using a phased, modular approach. LR2000 will be incrementally phased out over the next two years, beginning with the Mining Claim Recordation Module.

The Bureau of Land Management’s Legacy Rehost System (LR2000) provides a searchable database for public reports on BLM land and mineral use authorizations, conveyances, mining claims, withdrawals and classifications.
What is Afmss?
The Automated Fluid Minerals Support System (AFMSS) is an internal DOI/BLM system (available to DOI/BLM users) used to track and analyze oil and gas operations. The Geothermal Resources Automated Support System (GRASS) was adapted from AFMSS to track and analyze geothermal operations.
