Is SmartPost UPS or USPS?
The main difference: SurePost delivers packages to the nearest USPS office, whereas SmartPost drops them off at the nearest USPS regional hub. For that reason alone, you may see slightly faster delivery by using UPS.

What is end of day with UPS?
Other than time-definite air deliveries, shipments are generally delivered anytime between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (and sometimes later) to residences, and by close of business for commercial addresses. UPS cannot schedule a specific delivery time within that window.
What is UPS zone2?
ZIP codes with the first three digits of 376-379 are in Zone 2 for UPS. Those deliveries wouldn’t travel far from the point of origin. A shipment to a ZIP code starting with 970 would go to the West Coast. That is Zone 8 for a UPS package shipped from Knoxville.
