Usually nothing. The WCA doesn’t decide prizes, the competition organisers do. Quite a few competitions have cubes as prizes, but cash prizes are generally reserved for big ones like Euro, US Nationals and World Championships.
How do cubing competitions work?
Competitors are split into groups (these can be based on your initials, time of registration, randomly, or in later rounds, your speed), and they are called up to solve once the cube they have given to be scrambled is ready. Everyone receives the same computer generated scrambles within their group.
