Why does the oracle say Neo is not The One?
Well, he had to decide to become the One. If he didn’t believe that he was the One, then he literally couldn’t be the One. Neo could have been the most gifted hacker the world had ever seen, and yet he wouldn’t have been able to become anything without a sense of belief and purpose.
