Where should I start with Sandman comics?
It might seem like an obvious answer, but The Sandman #1 is the best place to start reading. It’s not advised to read the prequel The Sandman: Overture first. This is because it’s written with the assumption that you’ve read the original series. So while it’s set before The Sandman #1, it’s not a great place to start.
