The McNay offers free general admission every Thursday night from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. courtesy of H-E-B. Additionally, admission is free on the first Sunday of each month courtesy of the Dickson-Allen Foundation.

Is the McNay free for students?
Student Tours are FREE at McNay! Student tours are FREE! For self-guided tours, please bring one adult for every ten students. Adults exceeding the ratio 1:5 pay a discounted adult admission of $15.
Are San Antonio museums open?
The Quadrangle is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; on weekends and federal holidays, it’s open from noon to 6:00 p.m. The Ft. Sam Museum is located inside the historic Quadrangle on Liscum Road. Museum hours are 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday thru Friday and 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

Can you take photos in San Antonio Art Museum?
Service animals are welcome, but pets are not permitted on the Museum campus. No flash photography in the galleries. Photography is not allowed in Special Exhibitions unless otherwise noted.
