On the foil sides of cards, noticeable silvering visible on the card’s borders are graded Played. Any number of slightly bent or compressed corners, or multiple minor instances of corner wear on two or more corners. Cards that are flat in a sleeve are considered Near Mint, and not Played.

Cards in Near Mint condition are equivalent to a fresh pack. They only have slight imperfections such as 1–3 rounding or soft corners and slightly rough edges. Any damage aside from this would automatically lower the card’s condition.

How to tell if a card has been played?
