How do you wash a wool suit?
It’s best advised that woolen suits are washed by hands. You can do this by dipping it in and out of a bowl with ice-cold water and find a detergent that’s meant for wool. Rinse it properly with cold water and leave it to air dry naturally.
Can I put a wool suit in the washing machine?
Modern washing machines also feature settings designed especially for certain fabrics and fibres. Most washing machines therefore offer a wool or hand-wash cycle. You should put no more than three pieces of clothing into the machine per load to avoid damaging the suit fabric.
