How much does Calmbirth cost?
Calmbirth® classes are held at the Poche Centre (lower ground floor), 40 Rocklands Rd, Wollstonecraft NSW 2065 (corner of Sinclair Street) directly across the road from the Mater Hospital. Classes are held on consecutive Sundays from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. The cost for two people to attend is $550.00.
When do you do Calmbirth?
The ideal time to attend a Calmbirth® course is between 24 and 34 weeks gestation. This, however, is not a strict guideline; if you are feeling particularly anxious, we suggest coming earlier on, and if you have left it a little late to book, you are still welcome to attend after 34 weeks.
What is HypnoBirthing method?
The process of HypnoBirthing is based on the power of suggestion. The laboring woman uses positive affirmations, suggestions, and visualizations to relax her body, guide her thoughts, and control her breathing. She can either do this herself (self-hypnosis) or receive assistance from a hypnotherapist.
