Can you rent canoes at Bruce Peninsula National Park?
There are a few outfitters in Tobermory that rent kayaks and canoes. Some will even transport them to your destination for you. The park is making arrangements to have canoe rentals in the park for use at Cyprus and Cameron Lake, however this will still be administered by a third party.

Current River State Park offers day-use recreational activities. On weekends during the summer months, visitors can hike, picnic, and go fishing on two lakes. Guests can also tour the historic property, which was once a corporate retreat for the Alton Box Board Company of Alton, Illinois.
Can you canoe in Tobermory?
The cliff and cove shoreline around Tobermory and some harbours – particularly on the Lake Huron side – are hospitable places for the kayak, and even for the canoe if you stay close to shore. Venturing out into more open water, however, is sport only for the experienced paddler.
Can you kayak at Cyprus Lake?
Cyprus Lake is easily accessible to paddlers, and a navigable stream leads through to the larger Cameron Lake. Keep an eye open for great blue herons and kingfishers. Motorboats are prohibited on Cyprus Lake. Non-powered craft such as canoes and sailboards may be used on the lake anytime.
What time does the boat rental open at Chain O lakes?
-Our boat rental facility is still open! As of right now (8/18/20) through the end of August our boat rental on Sand Lake is open Monday-Thursday from 10 am – 6 pm with the last rental going out at 5 pm. Friday-Sunday from 8 am – 8 pm with the last rental going out at 7 pm.
