Unfortunately unless you ordered as part of your switch to AT, you now have to wait 60 to 90 days to upgrade.
Does AT check credit for upgrades?
An upgrade will not require any type of credit check. With eligibility, you simply go to an AT company store location or online from your AT account.

In progress means that your order is being prepared. Due to the current pandemic, orders may experience a little delay. Once shipped, you will receive an email notifying you that your package is on its way.

ATT does not do free upgrades. Presuming you mean an upgrade like everyone else, you can upgrade to any phone you want but it will not be free.
Does ATT check credit for existing customers?
If you haven’t submitted an order in the past 6 months, we do run a credit check, however, it is a soft credit check. Also, since you are currently part of the AT family, your payment history is weighted more heavily than your credit history.
Does ATT require credit check?
Yes, a credit check will be required in order to get wireless service with AT. This is required of all of our postpaid customers. If this is a concern, you can start an AT PREPAID account.
