How are Juno winners chosen?
Voting for the Juno Fan Choice Award is open to the public, while voting on general categories is limited to CARAS members. Winners in genre-specific or specialty categories are determined by specially appointed CARAS juries.
How do you become a Juno?
Eligibility. Eligible music must be available for all Canadians and for (1) national sale or (2) via a recognized national music streaming provider. Product must be released nationally via brick and mortar stores or third-party online retailers.
Do you have to be Canadian to win a Juno?
Non-Canadians will receive named credit only and will not be considered nominees or winners. International Artists/Groups with Album Graphics designed by Canadians are eligible.
Can Americans win JUNO Awards?
Non-Canadians will receive named credit only and will not be considered nominees or winners if part of a nominated song or technical project. The only exceptions are if they are in a nominated group that meets the 50% Canadian criteria or are nominated in the International Album of the Year category.
