Can you walk around Llyn Elsi?
Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 56 min to complete. This trail is great for birding, hiking, and trail running. A beautiful walk in Betwys-Y-Coed. It starts with a steep climb but it is worth it for the stunning views of the Snowdonian mountain range and the lovely walk around the lake.

The walk is approximately 4 km long with only 200m height gain. It can be completed comfortably in 2 hours, but you may want to take longer to explore the forest or walk around the lake. You begin up the road behind St Mary’s church, and soon make your way in to the forest.

Can you swim in fairy glen?
Not only will kids of all ages love it here, but the Fairy Glen is also guaranteed to excite the adults. It’s certainly a great place for spending time outdoors with the family. Although this place is beautiful all year round, it’s best to visit in the summer when you can swim in one of the pools.
Can you swim in lake Crafnant?
Private boating and swimming is not permitted. Try the three waymarked forest walks from here: Afon Crafnant Amble (400 metres). This trail goes along the side of the River Crafnant through areas of towering conifers, young birch trees and open grassy glades.
Can you paddleboard on Llyn Crafnant?
Sadly, although Crafnant was gifted very kindly to the people of Llanrwst town…we are not allowed to paddle upon it. There needs to be a critical mass to contest this. Also others who enjoy wild swimming locally have suggested a mass-swim.
