We are on the 4th floor of Senate House. Lifts are available on the ground floor (opposite the University of London reception desk, in the South Block). Where is the Senate House?
The Basics The Senate Chamber is a rectangular, two-story room located in the center of the north wing of the U.S. Capitol. The nation’s 100 senators sit at individual desks arranged on a tiered semicircular platform facing a raised rostrum.
Can you eat in Senate House library?
There is a cafe on the ground floor of Senate House, behind the ceremonial stairs. Please note, we do not allow eating or drinking in the library,other than bottled water.

What are the hours of the library?
Open weekdays, Monday to Friday, 11:00 to 15:00. (And from Monday 7 February, 11:00 to 16:00.) Request items via the catalogue. Two new appointments, Pete Williams as Deputy Director Services and Catherine Stephen as Deputy Director Collections join Senate House Library.
