Launched in 2011, Girl Scouts’ Make Your Own Badge site was designed to offer girls a truly girl-led experience. With the Make Your Own option, Girl Scouts could get creative in designing a badge not already offered through our program, around a topic of particular interest to them.

For example, if you received passing scores on 20 written exams, you might be awarded a digital badge for ‘Outstanding Written Assessments.

Assist with helping girls come up with and create their Take Action project. In the final Take Action meeting, Daisies will earn their Take Action award. From your council shop or the Girl Scout website, buy the Take Action awards, one for each Daisy.

This award is the first in a series of mentoring awards that girls can earn in Girl Scouts. The Cadette Program Aide Award, Volunteer in Training Award, and Counselor in Training I and II Awards all work together to give her more and more opportunities to lead girls younger than herself.
