How long does it take to get HPCSA certificate?
If a practitioners name was voluntary erased a certificate letter would be issued. Please note the following: Practitioners are advised that Certificates of Status (COS) will be issued within 10 working days from date of request provided that payment is reflecting on the HPCSA account.

The 18-month programme, which incorporates an Honours equivalent degree, as well as a 720-hour HPCSA-accredited practicum, has now been accredited for the SACAP Pretoria campus. The BPsych Equivalent qualification entitles students to write the Board Exam for eligibility to become a Registered Counsellor.
How many sessions can a registered Counsellor do?
Registered Counsellors usually see clients for between 8 to 10 sessions, and will refer to a psychologist where necessary, as they cannot diagnose or treat mental disorders. Registered Counsellors can work in private practice or under supervision.

When do I have to pay my HPCSA fees?

How is the HPCSA funded?
