What is Delta jetted shower?
Delta’s Jetted Showerâ„¢ is the only semi-custom shower in the industry, providing a jetted shower experience without having to resize the plumbing pipes, drain or water heater. It features a shower head and two spray jets with a wide, revitalizing, yet relaxing spray.
How do you use a Delta shower diverter?
Jetted Models
- Grasp the diverter stem handle on the wall between the two wall jets.
- Turn the handle left or right horizontally to operate the water jets only.
- Pull the center knob out to turn the water on.
- Rotate the lever counterclockwise for additional hot water or clockwise for additional cold water.
How many body jets do I need for a shower?
Typically, three sprays are used and installed in a vertical line. Ideal body spray placement is intended to cover the entire body with water no matter which way the person is facing. Body sprays should be installed on the opposite wall as the shower head and not aimed at the shower door.
What shower valves are compatible with Delta?
As long as you are ok sticking with the Delta brand, your universal Delta rough-in Valve will fit any Delta Trim Kit. As mentioned above, this is the reason that the valves and trims made by different companies are not compatible. They do it on purpose to lock you into their brand.
How do I turn my shower diverter on?
This diverter valve, also known as a tee diverter, is located on the end of the tub spout (see photo above). Activating it requires simply pulling up on the diverter, which then sends water to the showerhead. Pushing the diverter back to the downward position restores water flow to the tub again.
What is the difference between a 3 setting and 6 setting diverter?
The 3 setting diverter allows two shower components and the 6 setting diverter allows three shower components. The 3 settings would allow two individual settings and one shared setting for the two components.
Where should a shower jet be placed?
You should place shower body sprays so that the water hits your shoulders, lower back and upper thighs. Take other users’ heights into consideration before installing body sprays.
Where should a shower body jet be installed?
The shower valve should be placed about waist high, which is approximately 36″ from the floor of the shower. The lowest body spray is usually placed at knee or thigh height. The middle body spray is usually placed at hip or waist level. The highest body spray is usually placed at shoulder or back height.
