Is the B-wing any good?
Renowned for their use by Blade Squadron, B-Wings are packed with heavy weaponry. They were designed to bust through enemy defenses, so the B-Wing bomber is exceptional in Fleet Battles. However, in Star Wars: Squadrons the B-Wing can also be proficient in dogfights, despite its slow speed and low maneuverability.

The B-wing fighter was designed by Joe Johnston and Bill George. The craft derives its name from the fact that the crew labeled the two new Rebel starfighter models in Return of the Jedi as “A fighter” and “B fighter”.

Who uses the A-wing?
The A-wing starfighter, also referred to as A-wing, was a type of starfighter. During the Early rebellion against the Galactic Empire and the Galactic Civil War, the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the New Republic used the RZ-1 A-wing interceptor.

Wesley Seeds and Lorne Peterson of Industrial Light & Magic built the model, and its pilot figure is based on a World War I German airman. A battle-damaged engine “wing” was snapped into place to represent Arvel Crynyd’s damaged fighter as it crashed into the Executor.
