What can Flamigel be used for?
Flamigel® RT hydrates the affected skin area and restores moisture balance. Flamigel® RT reduces the intensity of early symptoms of radiotherapy-induced skin reactions such as red, dry, itching, flaking, peeling or irritated skin (dry desquamation).
Does hydrogel help sunburn?
Burnshield Hydrogel is used for the treatment of sunburn, superficial / partial thickness burns, rehydration of dressings and difficult to get-to areas. This gel cools the skin – it provides pain relief and shock reduction.
Can you use Solosite for sunburn?
Sunburnt areas should be kept moist to help soothe pain and assist in healing. By keeping the area moist, the risk of scarring is also minimised. The use of a hydrating gel such as SOLOSITE can help sunburn by creating an environment which allows less painful healing. More severe sunburn may require hospitalisation.
Should I put a dressing on sunburn?
Do not cover the blisters unless something such as clothing is rubbing against them. If you do cover them, apply a loose bandage. You can use tape to hold the bandage on, but do not let the tape touch the blisters.

When do you put hydrogel on a burn?
A hydrogel dressing is appropriate in the following situations:
- Dry or slightly moist partial- and full-thickness wounds.
- Granulating wounds.
- Abrasions and partial-thickness burns.
- Radiation skin damage.
- Wounds with slough or eschar.
- Painful wounds.

SOLOSITE is a hydrogel wound dressing with preservatives. It can donate moisture to rehydrate non-viable tissue. It absorbs exudate while retaining its structure in the wound.
