The Avatar’s foil extended art version is valued at around $20. The non-foil version was priced above $10 following the launch of STX but is now worth around $6.
What is the point of MTG art cards?
They are similar to an artist’s proofs and thus provide room to get an artist’s signature or sketch on it. They can also be used as tokens for copy effects, proxies, or if it is for a legendary creature it could be a good way to store experience counters, life total, commander tax, etc.
How are magic cards priced?
Wizards sets no prices. The secondary market is totally on their own there. Wizards doesn’t get involved, except for setting the reccomended price on product. Whatever we pay, that’s what they charge.

Are Japanese MTG cards worth more?

Are Full art cards legal MTG?
Full Art modified cards can be legal provided the modification does not mark the card or make it unidentifiable. Do note that using a sticker IS going to change the thickness and feel of your card which would make it marked and thus disallowed.
