How do you play Balderdash example?
One player reads out a question to the others. They each write down a made-up, but believable answer and hand it to the person who read the question. This person then reads out the REAL answer and all the made-up answers, in random order. The others must guess which is actually correct.
Can you guess your own answer in Balderdash?
A player should not reveal their own answer by shouting “that’s mine” or by nudging, winking or grunting. Moving clockwise from the DASHER, each player chooses the answer that they think is real. As each player chooses, the DASHER writes that player’s initials on the answer sheet chosen in the section marked “Score”.
