How many dives do you need for Advanced Open Water?

The PADI Advanced Open Water Course consists of 5 different adventure dives. You are required to do a knowledge review for each dive, which your instructor will go over with you before getting in the water. The course can be done over 2 or 3 days, with up to 3 dives being completed in one day.
How many skills are in open water course?
In total, there are 5 mask skills every student has to master. But actually, they are all the same skill – how to clear water out of your mask. Water in our mask is not a big deal, but it makes it harder to see and can be a bit uncomfortable.
How deep can an advanced PADI diver go?

Remember that the PADI advanced open water depth is max 30 meters or 100 feet. You should not dive beyond this point without any further and specific deep dive training. This deep “Adventure” dive is the first dive from the PADI Deep Diver course and give you a glimpse of what lies beyond.

Once you’ve completed your PADI Open Water Diver course you are able to dive up to 18 metres. If you’d like to go further and increase your skill level, the Advanced Open Water course is your next step. During this course you’ll spend less time in the classroom and more time in the water.
