From today (Friday 5 June), residents and permit holders will now be able to go online and book a slot at the tip. Dudley Council bosses reopened the Household Waste Recycling Centre (tip) in Stourbridge on Monday 11th May for residents who had pre-booked their slot by phone.
Is Stourbridge tip open as normal?
To make a booking, customers simply go to https://www.dudley.gov.uk/residents/bins-and-recycling/household-waste-recycling-centre/ or ring 0300 555 2345. The site is now open every day from 8am to 4pm, as winter opening times took effect from the start of October.

When is the Stourbridge household waste recycling centre open?
From April 1, the Stourbridge Household Waste Recycling Centre is open every day from 8am-4pm. From April 6, the council has also increased the opening times to 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday and 8am-4pm, on Saturday and Sunday. Booking is still essential Birmingham Street (A458) in Stourbridge.
How do I dispose of household waste at Dudley Council?
Any items suitable for reuse should be handed to a site operative. If you use a car towing a trailer or a commercial type vehicle to dispose of your household waste at Dudley Council’s household waste recycling centre (HWRC) you will need to apply for our van and trailer permit. Commercial waste is not accepted at the Birmingham Road site.
