To me,the sexiest feature is the optional,free RADIUS server from Synology.

Despite the one minor issue I had,it stands head and shoulders above other routers in terms of self-updating.

The router can be used without creating a Synology account.

How to configure link backup on dual WAN router?

Select “Load Balance” in the Advanced menu and choose “Link Backup”:

When your cursor points at the WAN port icon,two buttons will appear:+P means add this WAN port to primary WAN.

You could choose mode of link backup as Timing or Failover.

When you finish,click “Add” to save your link backup rule,it will be displayed when done.

How to configure dual WAN on ASUSWRT routers?

Open your preferred browser and type in the Default Gateway address into your browser’s URL address bar.

You will see the login prompt.
