Why does Dragon Ball GT look old?
There’s definitely a palette swap once you hit GT, no getting around that, but the original Japanese masters of the series have a brighter, softer look on the whole (See: Dragon Boxes, Kai 1.0). That could easily be misinterpreted as fading if you haven’t consciously compared the footage before.
