I’ve never had a problem using any kind of carb intake on a 305/350 tbi or tp. Just hog out the centre holes and good to go.

For a carb swap you need a whole line of things. Intake, Carb, new distributer, wires, fuel pump, and a new cap and rotor. This all ran off the ecu. In fact, from what I’ve read you might as well strip the whole thing out of the truck. Thats what I plan on doing this summer. Taking the PCM out will need a few mods.
