What is included in the OPIC?
The OPIc provides detailed test instructions and directions on how to listen to the questions and record answers. In order to ensure that the test taker understands these instructions, a sample question is provided for the test taker to practice the functionality of the OPIc.

Certification as an ACTFL OPI Tester acknowledges a tester’s ability to elicit and rate oral proficiency interviews with a high degree of reliability. ACTFL Certified OPI Testers: Conduct OPIs within their own academic institutions for internal purposes such as placement, graduation requirement, research, and program evaluation.
How does the OPIC assess language proficiency?
