Why do we study New Testament theology?
In focusing our attention on redemptive history and God’s gospel work in Christ, Biblical theology draws our attention away from moralism and to the good news of the kingdom of God. The more you see the redemptive work of God in Christ in the pages of Scripture the less and less moralism seems reasonable or viable.
