Aside from being a great-looking film (I watched this in HD and it is stunning for a 1985 film), YEAR OF THE DRAGON is full of some compelling nuggets of dialogue (much of which feels like Oliver Stone’s influence, although it’s difficult to discern), and some truly shocking, violent moments.
