Shigure slept with Ren (Akito’s mother) as revenge against Akito for sleeping with Kureno. He also got close to Ren in order to try and find out any information about breaking the curse. Shigure says to Ren that he is attracted to her for being the image of what Akito could have been if she had been raised as a woman.
